This course fulfills State requirements for Pre-Certification Nurse Assistant Training by providing completion of the competencies in basic nursing skills in a skilled nursing facility. Completion of 80 hours of theory and 112 hours of supervised clinical experience are required. ($90 fee for the California State Examination upon completion.) $100 fee, textbook ($38) required. Physical exam (approx. $35), TB Skin Test (approx. $20) and fingerprint clearance ($47) are required. Register at the Green Valley Center, 294 Green Valley Road, Watsonville, no-mail in registration accepted. Limited enrollment. Theory will be at the Green Valley Center , Room 5, and Clinical at Watsonville Nursing and Rehab Center or Valley Convalescent.
